Tender Floated for Terminal Building at Dholera International Airport
Dholera International Airport Company Limited (DIACL) has invited bids for the construction of a state-of-the-art terminal building at the Greenfield International Airport in the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR). Designed to handle both domestic and international passengers, the terminal will be a key milestone in the region’s aviation growth.
In the first phase, DIACL seeks contractors for radar infrastructure, including installation of Air Surveillance Radar (ASR), Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR), an antenna tower, and related facilities. The tender, valued at ₹19 crore (excluding GST), closes on September 24. Technical bids will open on September 30, followed by financial bids on October 10.
This phase, to be completed within six months, also covers approach roads and supporting infrastructure for future expansion. Earlier this year, DIACL awarded a ₹3,300 crore contract for an integrated terminal, ATC tower, cargo complex, and other facilities. The airport is targeted to become operational by 2025–26.
