Gujarat to Showcase Investment Potential at Vibrant Gujarat Kolkata Roadshow on November 1
After the success of the Delhi leg, the Gujarat government is set to host the Kolkata roadshow for the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2024 on 1 November 2023. The event will be led by Harsh Sanghvi, Minister of State for Home & Police Housing, Industry, and Cultural Activities.
The Kolkata roadshow aims to position Gujarat as the "Gateway to the Future", highlighting opportunities for partnerships and investments across key sectors. Focus areas include GIFT City, Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), and Mandal Becharaji SIR—mega projects driving Gujarat’s industrial growth.
The programme will open with a welcome address by Chintan Thaker, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Gujarat Council, followed by a presentation on Gujarat’s business prospects by Dr. Kuldeep Arya, IAS, Additional Industries Commissioner (SP). Industry leaders will share success stories, and attendees will view audio-visual presentations showcasing Gujarat’s development journey.
Minister Harsh Sanghvi will highlight 20 years of VGGS success, the Prime Minister’s ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ vision, and Gujarat’s readiness to lead India’s economic transformation under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The event will close with a vote of thanks from Ravi Agarwal, President of Rupa & Company and Immediate Past Chair of ASSOCHAM (Eastern Region).
