For 15+ years, Gujarat has been a Power Surplus State, driven by early adoption of renewable energy. From India’s first solar park in Charanka to the upcoming world’s largest hybrid renewable energy park in Kutch, Gujarat’s approach remains both futuristic and sustainable.

Under the Special Investment Regions (SIR) Act of 2009, Gujarat launched future-ready projects like GIFT City (global financial hub), Dholera SIR (smart manufacturing city), Mandal Becharaji SIR (automobile hub), PCPIR (petrochemicals), and DREAM City (diamond & gem hub).
