Gujarat CM Reviews Infra Progress at Dholera SIR; Phase-1 Nears Completion
Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conducted an on-site review of the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) to assess progress on ongoing infrastructure and development projects.
During the visit, Patel inspected the 22.54 km activation area under Phase-1, where over 95% of the work is already completed. Dholera SIR, spanning 920 sq. km across 22 villages in Dholera taluka of Ahmedabad district, is envisioned as a world-class, smart, and sustainable industrial hub.
Key infrastructure already in place includes:
- Dedicated underground service corridor for utilities
- 72 km internal road network with modern design
- 150 MLD water supply system to support industrial and residential needs
Once fully operational, Dholera SIR is expected to emerge as a game-changing economic zone attracting global investments and generating large-scale employment opportunities.
