Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway: Route, Key Interchanges, and Access Points
The Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway is set to become operational by June 2025, linking Gujarat’s largest city, Ahmedabad, with India’s first Greenfield Smart City – Dholera. Constructed at a cost of ₹4,373 crore, this 109-km, four-lane, access-controlled highway will cut travel time between the two cities to just 40–45 minutes.
Route Overview
Designated as NH-751, the expressway begins at the Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej in southwest Ahmedabad and stretches southwards, passing through rural Ahmedabad district before reaching Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) and ending at Adhelai village in Bhavnagar district.
Entry Point
Sarkhej Interchange (Km 0) – Located near the SP Ring Road and NH-8A junction (Sarkhej-Okaf area), this diamond interchange is the main gateway from Ahmedabad onto the expressway.
